Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Tesca Andrew-Wasylik graduated from the University of Toronto MScPT program. Prior to this she completed an Honours Bachelor of Kinesiology and Physical Education at Wilfrid Laurier University and a Bachelor of Science at the University of Winnipeg specializing in Athletic Therapy and Exercise Science. She took to pelvic health early and completed all of her levels while completing her Masters. She found her passion working with the pre/postnatal population as well as active females who experience pelvic pain and/or incontinence.
Tesca was a competitive gymnast, soccer player, and track athlete before she switched to volleyball and went on to play at Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Winnipeg, and then with Team Canada for 5 years and professionally in Romania. Since finishing her National Team career she keeps active with parkour, tennis, cycling, volleyball, and running. She recently completed her first half ironman and is now working towards a full ironman and qualifying for the Boston Marathon.
She is a certified personal trainer with specialized training in pre/postnatal fitness. She has post-graduate training in pelvic health, vestibular rehab, acupuncture/dry needling, and concussion management. Whatever your goal, she is here to listen and work together to form an individualized plan. She can’t wait to meet you!
Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Sabrina is a Registered Physiotherapist who completed a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Toronto. Prior to this, she graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelors of Science in Human Kinetics. She speaks English and French fluently.
Sabrina began her career working as an Orthopedic Physiotherapist, developing her expertise in Manual Therapies and Medical Acupuncture. She quickly developed an interest in Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, and has found her passion in this field. Sabrina is a Certified Pelvic Floor Physiotherapist, specializing in conditions related to pre and post-partum, pelvic pain, pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, low back and hip pain, as well as male-specific conditions, including pelvic pain and post-prostatectomy related issues.
Sabrina strongly believes in employing a caring, individualized, and evidenced-based approach to help her clients achieve their goals. She is continuously attending conferences and specialized courses in Pelvic Health, and looks forward to working with her patients every day.
In her free time, Sabrina enjoys traveling, camping, kayaking, and hiking with her puppy.
DR. GILLIAN GROWSE
Dr. Growse is an expert when it comes to managing pre and post natal aches and pains. Whether you are experiencing low back pain, pelvic girdle pain, or symphisis pubic pain, she has the tools to help you find relief. She is experienced in several techniques including: spinal mobilizations, myofascial release, acupuncture, K-tape, exercises for birth preparation and posture.
DR. EMILY CASEY
Dr. Emily Casey, ND offers safe and effective natural treatment options to support the health of you and your baby from preconception, throughout pregnancy, and postpartum. Work with Dr. Casey to:
- Manage morning sickness, fatigue, heartburn, constipation and other common pregnancy concerns.
- Prepare your body for labour using acupuncture, nutrition, and herbs.
- Optimize your recovery postpartum.
- Enhance the long-term health of you and your baby.
Kim is a Registered Dietician with special interest in: pre natal nutrition, post natal nutrition, breastfeeding, weaning babies off of milk/increasing oral feeding, growth faltering (of babies), PCOS, weight loss, and irritable bowel syndrome.
Kim has a lighthearted style to her counselling, she wants to get to know her clients and understand how she can best accommodate them in each and every session to achieve sustainable results. Kim firmly believes in both a holistic and individualized approach, and places great importance on inter-professional collaboration within the clinic to optimize each clients health outcomes.
On a personal level, Kim is an avid cyclist, both indoors and outdoors, and has recently been working towards her cycling instructor certification.
